When most people think of the 70s and Electronic Music they think of Disco. However, many other forms of Electronic Music emerged during that decade, including Industrial, New Age, New Wave and Electro. Ambient found its name in the late 70s with Brian Eno's Ambient 1 (Music for Airports), although in truth it had existed as a style – albeit one without a title – since the end of the decade before.
